Etchline NYC brings a portable laser engraving station to your venue for brand activations, retail pop-ups, corporate events, golf outings and tournaments, restaurant and bar activations, sports events, nonprofit galas and private celebrations. Pricing at a Glance

• Base service (2-hour minimum): $1,300 (1 station + staffing)
• Additional time: $500 per hour (per station)
• Design fees baked in: Standard event design setup, personalization layouts, and engraving file prep are already included in these on-site rates — no separate design invoice for typical events.
• NYC flat travel: $150 per event (all 5 boroughs; includes Manhattan Congestion Relief Zone fee.)
• Portable power (if no outlet): $150 per station per event
• Portable lighting (for dim or low-lit events): $150 per station per event
• Indoor Air Safety & Filtration (indoor venues): $150 per station per event (not required for most outdoor events; semi-enclosed setups may still require filtration)
• NYC public schools & NYC-based nonprofits serving neurodivergent children and youth: 25% off base and hourly rates.
• One event per day: We only book one on-site engraving event per day — even for a 2-hour booking — so your event receives our full focus and equipment.
• Need more capacity and shorter wait times? Add a second machine and on-site support at the same rate to keep lines moving and serve more guests in the same time window.

How to Book

1. Request availability: Click the Request Availability form and share your date, venue name & full address, and event type.
2. Design your experience: We confirm stations, hours, and artwork (names, dates, logo, etc.).
3. Proofs & samples: Digital proof is included. Physical mock-ups are available on request and may require 2–3 sample units per product/finish for testing (client covers samples & shipping).
4. Reserve your date: Most events are paid 100% upfront via Zelle or Square Invoice. Work begins once funds clear. For corporate/education clients that require a PO, a 50% retainer + PO/SOW path is available.
5. Event day: We arrive, set up, and engrave live. If the line is still going and you want more time, we can extend at $500/hour (per station) — just approve and tap to pay on-site by credit card or Zelle.

Peak Dates Fill Fast

• March–June: awareness walks and runs, school events, graduations, spring/summer weddings, pet adoption drives, realtor open houses, golf outings & tournaments, outdoor restaurant and bar events.
• September–early November: conventions, retail events, realtor open houses, sports leagues, back-to-campus events and fall festivals.
• November–December: corporate holidays, employee appreciation events and end-of-year celebrations.
• NYC Marathon Season (early November): heavy demand for medal engraving & running-related events.

There are only 52 weekends a year, and we reserve just one event per day. If your date falls in these windows, submit your request as early as possible — once a date is booked, it’s gone.

Materials We Engrave

Most likely — yes! We commonly engrave stainless steel, anodized aluminum, finished wood, leather, slate, ceramic, acrylic/PMMA, certain plastics, stone, and more. Transparent acrylic and some specialty materials may require testing. For safety, we do not engrave PVC or vinyl. For client-supplied items, we may request 2–3 samples per product/finish for testing.

Travel, Power & Safety

• Service area: Based in Brooklyn and serving all 5 NYC boroughs. We also travel nationwide and internationally for corporate clients — travel and logistics quoted all-inclusive.
• Flat travel: $150 per event (parking, tolls, and Manhattan congestion fee below 60th St. included).
• Power: One dedicated 120V/15A outlet within 10 ft per station. If no outlet is available, portable power can be added for $150 per station per event (with advance notice).
• Indoor events & air quality: For indoor venues, we operate with a compact, high-efficiency air filtration setup to keep comfort and air quality a priority (Indoor Air Safety & Filtration fee applies). For most outdoor events, filtration isn’t required; semi-enclosed setups may still require it.
• Portable lighting: For dim or low-lit venues, portable lighting can be added for $150 per station per event.
• Site & crowd: Client provides a sturdy table and 2 chairs, clear access, and basic queue/crowd management around the station.
